Max B. Osceola, JR., is a member of the Seminole Tribe of Florida. Within the Tribe, there are extended families called clans. Max is a member of the Panther Clan. Max has made a positive impact while serving with the Seminole Tribal Council and is currently serving his 11TH two-year term as the Hollywood Council Representative. He is involved with many charities throughout Broward County that conduct research to prevent health related problems and advocate life improvement for the youth and adults. Max was inducted into the Broward County Sports’ Hall of Fame (2003) for his contribution to high school and youth sports in the county and was the recipient of the Silver Medallion Award (2004) from the National Conference for Community and Justice. He was also named as a “Treasure of Broward” by the Leadership Broward Foundation in 2005.
