Levinson Jewelers Schedule and Appoinment

Fine Jewelery
Levinson Jewelers has had quite a rise to the top in their 26 years of business - from a single booth with four display cases in a local jewelry exchange, to one of the top grossing independent jewelers in the country.

The Beginning

It began in 1983 when Mark and Robin Levinson took a chance and joined a local jewelry exchange in Plantation. Young and ambitious, they used all the money they had to purchase display cases and merchandise. In their first two months of business, the Levinsons reached the goals they had set for the first year. They began to build their customer base and their reputation of outstanding customer service spread quickly, therefore attracting new clientele. Slowly, as members of the exchange began to drop out, the Levinsons decided to venture out on their own, focusing on the reputation they had earned for quality jewelry and integrity.
The Rise

In 1989, the Levinsons took over the space that had been the jewelry exchange and officially made it their own, opening a whole new world to them. Several expansions later, Levinson boasted almost 10,000 square feet included private viewing rooms for customers and a centrally located plasma screen television that highlighted premiere vendors and upcoming promotional events.

New Location

In December, 2008, after years of steadfast commitment to the Plantation area, Levinson Jewelers expanded their business to a new area and opened a luxurious new store on the famed Las Olas Boulevard in the heart of downtown Fort Lauderdale. The new store has a very warm and inviting atmosphere (marble and wood) that still has the level of elegance that Levinson Jewelers’ customers have come to expect. This location offers constant walk-by traffic, wonderful international events such as the Ft. Lauderdale Boat Show, The Ft. Lauderdale International Film Festival, various art shows during the year and the Las Olas Wine and Food Festival to name a few.

The Grand Opening Celebration was February 5th and the city officially named that day “Levinson Jewelers” Day in the City of Ft. Lauderdale. Celebrating the opening were Dan & Claire Marino, Jason Taylor, Alonzo and Tracy Mourning, Sam and Saskia Madison, Rhonda and Charles Johnson, the Mayor of Fort Lauderdale, Radio legend Footy, former NBC6 anchor Tony Segreto and many others. Their loyal clients continue to refer their friends and associates to the jeweler, and today Levinson Jewelers is the place to buy jewelry for countless national and international celebrities and athletes. The Levinson’s have customers from around the globe who have come to trust them and look to them to provide unique and interesting jewels and timepieces that cannot be found elsewhere.

Recipe for Success

The clientele of Levinson Jewelers has come to know the store as more than a place to buy amazing jewelry. Levinson Jewelers believes that each client is unique – their style and personality cannot be compared to anyone else, and their jewelry should do the same; therefore, Mark and Robin Levinson try to create the perfect look for their clientele’s individuality.

“Just because the jewelry looks beautiful in the case, does not mean that it will look great on every person,” says Robin Levinson. “Some people cannot wear white gold as well as they can wear yellow or pink gold. Getting people to try new things often leads to the perfect match.”

The Levinson’s also travel the world looking for pieces that are extremely rare. Their customers have come to expect these one-of-a-kind items each and every visit, and Mark and Robin Levinson take pride in leading them into new brands and inventory. Today, their luxury jewelry arena is made up of amazing collection of diamonds and multi-colored stones and fantastic watch collections. The key is to offer a piece that is stylish, yet classic – so, not only does it fit this year’s hottest celebrity but is a piece that can be worn for years to come. Levinson Jewelers customers know that they can trust both the quality jewels and steadfast integrity of Mark and Robin Levinson.
